2005 – 2006 Season

September 10 7:30pm, DC Arts Collaborative at DC Dance Collective.  Artistic Director Roberta Rothstein and Company members will perform at this yearly event, a true cornucopia of dance! You will see hip hop, Middle Eastern dance, flamenco, tango, salsa, tap, modern, jazz, popping, locking, breaking and more.  Go to their site at www.dcdancecollective.com for more information!

It's confirmed!  We will be performing at Arts on Foot in the Penn Quarter area, downtown Washington on Saturday, September 17th, at 4 pm  in front of the Martin Luther King Library, G St. NW Between 9th & 10th Sts.  Our appearance is made possible by the Capital Fringe Festival.   Admission is free.  For more information about the Arts On Foot program, click here.

The 2005 Jazz Hip-Hop Nutcracker! Jazz Hip Hop Nutcracker preparations begin in September with children and teens training in one of three classes at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. The weekly classes, supplemented by  additional rehearsals enable dance students to perform in our professional production: six performances over two weekends at the newly renovated theater at Stuart-Hobson Middle School in Capitol Hill (410 E St NE, Washington, DC 20002-4927) in December 2005 on the following dates: December 10, Saturday 3pm and 8pm December 11, Sunday 3pm December 16, Friday (school show during school day) 11am (not required for students who cannot miss school) December 17, Saturday 3pm and 8pm December 18, Sunday 3pm For a map and directions, click here.
